Sintetica Innovation Award

The Sintetica Innovation Award is part of the company’s century celebrations and involves a unique start-up competition, bringing together specialists and experts with innovative Swiss-based projects in the sectors of biotechnology and digitalisation. Do you have an original and innovative idea? Would you like to revolutionise the world of pharmaceuticals? Are you interested collaborating with a renowned and forward-looking pharmaceutical company? You are in the right place!

We are looking for:

  • A Swiss based start-up or innovative project/idea
  • Focused on digital health or disease management
  • In the fields of perioperative and critical care (ICUs)
The aim of the competition is to identify new ideas that have the potential to transform the pharmaceutical industry, with the hope of using scientific innovation to improve our patients’ lives as well as the work of physicians.

Timeline

  • Phase 1

    deadline to submit your project following the template. The competition is open to ideas and innovative projects at any stage of development.

  • Phase 2

    Sintetica’s Scientific Committee decides and proclaims the 3 finalist projects

  • Phase 3

    in the morning: 15-minute presentation of each project and 10-minute Q&A session at the Suglio Business Center in Manno, Agire’s headquarters.

  • Phase 4

    in the afternoon: kick-off of Sintetica’s Century Celebration at the Academy of Architecture in Mendrisio with a scientific symposium and three renowned international professors, among which a Nobel Prize in Chemistry.

  • Phase 5

    in the evening: gala dinner and award ceremony with the announcement of the winning start-up, which will receive a prize of CHF 25’000.
