Our People &
Communities

Our ambition is to be a Great Place to Work

We achieve this by creating an environment where solidarity, respect for the individual, open communication and passion for our work will unleash the potential of all our people. Flat hierarchy, outstanding benefits, a collegial and friendly atmosphere characterize our culture.

We want our colleagues to be engaged, inspired and motivated by clear, shared values and ambitions, by a compelling strategy and by a strong shared culture; we want them to be able to do their best and we encourage them to perform and develop to their full potential. We want smart people.

This means we place emphasis on effective leadership, the acquisition and retention of good, kind and dedicated individuals, setting clear targets, open lines of communications, excellent learning and development opportunities and a healthy, safe and energizing workplace - within a performance culture in which diversity is valued and individual success depends on a positive and proactive personal attitude, goal oriented performance and adherence to our values and mission.

We are well aware that we can engage and retain smartpeople if we treat them fairly and openly: at Sintetica we provide an informal yet challenging environment, with innovative monetary and non-monetary benefits.

Through an annual survey we measure the degree of satisfaction of our employees, and we are very proud of the results we obtain year after year, with an approval and satisfaction rate steadily around 95% These results confirm the validity of our approach and the appreciation and attachment of our employees to our company, confirmed by the historically low turnover rate.

We believe that the quality of life can be significantly influenced by a real work-life balance: we strive to do all we can in order to provide such a balance.

In the local communities where we live and operate, we strive to be an integral part of society and we behave as responsible, good corporate citizen. We are involved in several sponsorship activities in the fields of music, performing arts, sports, local & international charities.
We have an agreement with a local trade union, Organizzazione Cristiano Sociale Ticinese (OCST), and all our employees in our Mendrisio site are affiliated to OCST through a collective agreement which protects their interests.
